2009 FAAN Teen Summit
Registration is now open for the 2009 FAAN Teen Summit! From Nov. 13-15, 2009, teens with food allergies ages 11 to 21 from around the country will come together in Arlington, Va., at the Doubletree Hotel Crystal City for a weekend of fun, education, and discussion of topics unique to teens with food allergies.
This is your chance to meet other teens who “get it” and to make friends in the food allergy community. We truly are all in this together! You’ll hear presentations by health care professionals and by other teens who are managing food allergies as you learn how to take action to prevent reactions. There will be separate sessions for teens and parents about school transitions and research updates, as well as question-and-answer sessions with doctors, and small group discussions. You’ll have fun, too! There will be games and a social event on Saturday night, and don’t forget: You’ll have chances to win prizes!
The FAAN Teen Summit is a great opportunity to meet and connect as you share personal stories, and you’ll walk away with new friends.
