Who Should Attend?

If you have food allergies, or are the sibling of a student with food allergies, and are between the ages of 11 and 20, the FAAN Teen Summit is for you! It’s a great opportunity to learn more about food allergies and to make new friends. Here’s what some past participants had to say:

“I think the Summit is an extremely enjoyable event, and I love attending it every year!”
~ Carlo, age 17

“I liked hanging out with my new friends, during the breaks, and after the party on Saturday night.”
~ Stefan, age 17

“This was the best time I ever had! I met a ton of new people, and it was cool just to know I’m not the only one who has food allergies!”
~ Elaine, age 11

While the FAAN Teen Summit is a weekend for teens, parents are an important part of this event, too. Here is what they had to say:

“We had a wonderful time (again….) There were some very special moments this weekend!! Personally, I enjoy hanging with the parents and sharing recipes and war stories in the evenings.”
~ Bonnie, parent

“It was an inspiration to meet the other parents and their teens, and we feel very blessed that we were able to be a part of it all.”
~ Mary, parent

Registration is now open for the 2010 FAAN Teen Summit! The registration fee is $25. Registrants must be FAAN members to attend. Space is limited. Registration closes Friday, Sept. 24, 2010.
