Attend the FAAN Teen Summit 2006

Saturday November 4, 2006 through Sunday, November 5, 2006

Mark your calendars! FAAN’s first-ever Teen Summit will take place this November 4 and 5, in Arlington, VA, at the Embassy Suites Crystal City. Join teens (age 11-21) with food allergies from around the country as they come to Washington, D.C. for a weekend of fun, education, and discussion of topics unique to teens. Speakers will include physicians, other health care professionals, and teens. We’ll have the experts there but this event will be about more than lectures. You’ll participate in fun activities such as discussions on dating, opinion polls, sightseeing in Washington, D.C., and even get a chance to be in a video!

The summit is a weekend for teens, but parents are a part of this too. All teens must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. There will be separate sessions for parents on Saturday, and on Sunday they get to relax before checking out of the hotel by noon.

The Embassy Suites Crystal City is conveniently located near the Ronald Reagan National Airport and Dulles International Airport. All rooms come with refrigerators, microwave ovens, and a living room, complete with a dining room table— perfect for making your allergen-free dishes. There are grocery stores within walking distance of the hotel, as well as the Pentagon, shopping, movie theatres and so much more, plus the hotel is only minutes from downtown Washington, D.C. Mention the FAAN Teen Summit when making hotel reservations for a special reduced rate, available through October 10, 2006.

This member-funded weekend is made possible with no registration fee to you. Space is limited, but registration has been extended through November 1, so sign up today!

Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to have fun, learn more about food allergies and meet other teens like you.
